Registrations open for 2020/21 season!
We hope that everyone has been keeping healthy and safe over the winter.
Registrations are now open for next season for Blasters (boys and girls 5-10 years), Community (boys and girls U10s-U17s), Junior Districts (boys by invitation only), and All Abilities cricket (males and females all ages).
Please register via the club website here.
Please register by 31 August 2020 to ensure that team shirt orders arrive in time for the start of the season.
Boys who will be playing Districts as well as Community cricket receive a discount on their Community registration fee. For those who are still trialling for Districts, please register after the District squad selections have been finalised in the second week of August.
New players are very welcome, so if you know any boys or girls 5 years of age or older who might be interested in playing cricket please pass this message on to their parents.
Junior Registrar
Samantha Buckland has recently stepped down for a well earned rest after several years as our junior registrar. A big thanks to Sam for all her hard work! And welcome to Nicole Kerr who is our new junior registrar – thanks Nicole for taking over the reins from Sam.
Junior Districts Coordinator + Blasters Coordinator
We recently farewelled Garry Martin after many years as our Junior Districts Coordinator. Thank you Garry for all your hard work in this and your other roles at the club including as Blasters Coordinator.
We welcome Brett Whiteaker as our new Junior Districts Coordinator and Blasters Coordinator. Brett is a former CNCC 1st Grade premiership winning captain, and has since become an experienced cricket administrator and coach across all junior levels including coaching our U15 Districts teams last season. Brett’s calm and concise style, and his one on one engagement with players and parents alike, will benefit the club’s Districts and Blasters programmes. Click to download our Cricket Blast Flyer.
Since the COVID-19 restrictions have been relaxed, Brett and Jens Henschel have been busy finalising the CNCC Junior District trials, with the squads to be announced by the second week of August.
