Community Cricket
The Western Australian Cricket Association manages junior cricket in the Perth Metropolitan area through the Community Junior Cricket Council (CJCC).
CNCC fields Community Cricket teams for boys from Year 4 up to Year 11, and for girls in Years 4/5, 6/7, 8/9 and 10/11/12 age groups.
Community Cricket is a fun way for boys and girls to play cricket with their friends.
Community cricket is reliant upon volunteer parents, who coach and manage the teams. CNCC will assist in arranging for coaches to undertake a free of charge WA Cricket 3 hour Level 1 Coaching course to assist them with coaching the team in a fun and engaging way. CNCC’s coaching staff also provides assistance to our Community coaches and players.
In Western Australia, the age groups in which you are placed to play, are decided by the school year group that player is in as of the 1st of July. So a child in Year 6 at school, will need to be registered in and participate in Year 6 cricket.
